Ed Parker was a movie stuntman who doubled for the mon-stars in several classic and not-so-classic movies! Mentioned on page 18 are his roles in Son of Frankenstein, Ghost of Frankenstein, Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman, Hellzapoppin, The Mummy's Tomb...

...and shown on page 19 is his portrayal doubling for Karloff in Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde!

Page 20 mentions his roles in The Mummy's Ghost, The Mummy's Curse (in which he had more screentime than star Lon Chaney, Jr!), his screen credited role in Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy, as well as his stuntwork in The New Adventures of Batman and Robin, King of the Rocket Men, Flash Gordon, Flash Gordon's Trip to Mars, Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe, Buck Rogers, A&C Meet Dr. Jekyll (of ourse), Monster on the Campus, Tarantula, The Mole People, This Island Earth, and Bride of the Monster.

A pretty impressive monsterrific resume, wouldn't you say?

Next time: Phantom of the Paradise!

  1. Jon,
I wonder why Vincent Bossone didn't mention Eddie Parker in Abbott & Costello meet Frankenstein?
