  1. boy, how many of these books did Stan Lee write? come to think of it, i can't say i know much about his writing since most of it i know was more 'the marvel way' so it was Lee & Kirby, or Lee & Ditko as pretty much 50-50.

  2. I agree, those books should've been credited as "By Stan Lee and Jack Kirby" or "By Stan Lee and Steve Ditko" -- it was one of the sore spots between Stan and Jack for years and years... apparently, it was the publisher's call, figuring the general public would recognize Stan's name, and not Jack or Steve's.

  3. yeah... of course, the whole 'Who created Spider-man' would give alot of problems for the relationship of the three.. though i know Lee and Kirby fought a bit over this, but am not sure about Ditko.. though i know he did a bit against Lee for this (the one famous image that Ditko did showing His Spider-man compared to Lee's Spider-man). but this is going a bit off track ^_^
