This week's Monster Monday starts out with a foreign movie poster!

Yes, that's the Invasion of the Saucer Man, as promoted in Swedish theatres!
Next, up... it's the Invisible Man!

And let's keep on the invisible track with... The Invisible Ray! Not sure if it really qualifies as a monster movie or not, to be honest...

I guess with both Karloff and Lugosi in the cast, it should even if there's no monster at all!
Speaking of no monster and invisible...

You've seen this poster before if you've been reading this blog for a while...
Wait, you want more Invisible Man?

Still from "The Invisible Man Returns"

Spanish poster for "The Invisible Man's Revenge"

Another still from The Invisible Man

Belgian poster for The Invisible Woman!
Man, there's hardly any monster content at all for this Monster Monday! Don't I have anything with a monster right there?

Ah, that's better... still from It! The Terror from Beyond Space!

Mexican Lobby Card for It!
And we'll wrap up this installment with a few stills from Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter!

Next time... kani kalani, kani kalani, kani kalani... KONG!
Jon

trust the swedish to add a nipple shot to sell The Invasion of the Saucer Men.
ReplyDeleteand it has been a while (again) but where in 'The Invisible Man' did he shot rays from his eyes like are shown in that first loby card?
and of course, what works well but really dates the film is for most of it, he isn't invisible because of the wraping and stuff.. but it's better then what they do these days..
Well, what can I say about those wacky Swedes?
ReplyDeleteAnd so far as the rays from the Invisible Man's eyes... well, let's just say that back in the day, they were handing out creative licenses with more abandon!
