  1. I can't figure out which came first.. "True Crime Comics" which came out first in 1947 with the idea they are true crimes and you can get a real money reward for helping catch the crimal in real life, or "Wanted" which first came out in 1947 with the idea they are true crimes and you can get a real money reward for helping catch the crimal in real life...

    Of course, because of the rewards, the comics sold well and lead to a range of crime comics.. alot of which were based on true crimes.

  2. Well, "based" might be a loose term to use there...

    I don't know which came first myself... although I would well imagine there wasn't a single reward paid to any readers!
