We start off this installment with page 42 from Marvel Preview #12, by Herb Trimpe - I'm guessing this is the magazine version of the title?

The same theory applies to page 14 from issue 13, by Klaus Janson!

Next, John Romita's cover for Marvel Spotlight #17!

Here's Frank Brunner's cover for Marvel Treasury Edition #6!

Here's page 22 from Marvel Team-Up #29, by Jim Mooney!

Up next, here's page 6 from Master Comics #9, and I believe that's by Ed Smalle! Here's more from Master Comics, a complete Nyoka story from issue 118!

I never get to post enough Metal Men art... here's the cover to issue 34, by Mike Sekowsky!

Here's Jack Kirby, with a couple of pages from Mister Miracle #17!

Page 2 from Master of Kung Fu #105!

Here's page 3!
And finally, here's some original art from the Marvel Comics Gum I believe I've posted package pictures of in a "Cool Stuff" posting...

Not sure why so many Hulk ones came up for sale at once... Anyway, you can probably see why the series didn't continue very long!

Lovely stuff. The Kirby is always wonderful to see and I'm pleased to be reminded again of Metal Men; I learned so much about physics from that comic :-)
ReplyDeleteI know, amazing what you used to learn from reading comics!
