And leading things off this week are these Marvel Super Hero Rings, which were vending machine items! More after the jump!

Here's one of the many, many silly Hulk toys... this is a glider with a plastic Hulk figure that can hang beneath it as it flies!

This Hot Wheel isn't too bad, as long as you don't think that it's supposed to be the Hulk's van!

Always liked the idea of the Hulk Rage Cage, but when you think about it, how many times can you inflate him, have his shirt "rip" (thanks to velcro), and see the cage break open before it gets boring?

Another silly Hulk toy here... I guess you spin the dials to make the Hulk move around?

What you're looking at here is an Italian Hulk "Boomerang" gun... yes, it's silly.

The Hulk "scene machine" had a viewer in the back that you could look into to see a single picture of the Hulk.

Mexican bootleg Hulk!

I'll forgive the longish arms on this Hulk just because I think it'd be cool to have a wind-up walking Hulk toy!

Hulk puzzle... one second later, the gorilla is defeated.

Yep, you guessed it, it's a Hulk 3rd Eye puzzle!

I used to have almost all the "Secret Story" books Ideal publishing put out... first the origin tale, and then a more recent story!

Here's that Hulk Hot Wheels van again, this time in a twin pack with a Thing van!

Very cool Hulk t-shirt design!

I remember seeing this shirt advertised in the comics!

Hulk wristwatch! Very nice!

Another silly Hulk toy! When I was a kid, these were called "Wheel-O"s!

And last up this time around is the Marvel Index, Volume 1!
Next time, the Marvel stuff starts with Iron Man!

Really love those vending machine rings...
ReplyDeleteI agree with Doc Atomic on those rings, Jon.
ReplyDeleteI actually have that yellow Hulk van!
Hi there, I'm your new blog follower, got some geekery goddies over on my blog too:

Doc and Vic, glad you enjoyed the post!
ReplyDeleteCreativeButterfly, those earrings were certainly geeky, but possibly not old-school geeky enough for most of my readers!
