Cool Stuff: Marvel Stuff, Part 3!

It's the third Cool Stuff post in a row with Marvel merch!

msh_herorings.jpg
And leading things off this week are these Marvel Super Hero Rings, which were vending machine items! More after the jump!

msh_hulk_hangglider.jpg
Here's one of the many, many silly Hulk toys... this is a glider with a plastic Hulk figure that can hang beneath it as it flies!

msh_hulk_hotwheels.jpg
This Hot Wheel isn't too bad, as long as you don't think that it's supposed to be the Hulk's van!

msh_hulk_ragecage.JPG
Always liked the idea of the Hulk Rage Cage, but when you think about it, how many times can you inflate him, have his shirt "rip" (thanks to velcro), and see the cage break open before it gets boring?

msh_hulkactionbox.jpg
Another silly Hulk toy here... I guess you spin the dials to make the Hulk move around?

msh_hulkboomeranggunital.jpg
What you're looking at here is an Italian Hulk "Boomerang" gun... yes, it's silly.

msh_hulkhotwheels4pack.jpg
The Hulk "scene machine" had a viewer in the back that you could look into to see a single picture of the Hulk.

msh_hulkmexican.jpg
Mexican bootleg Hulk!

msh_hulkminiwinder.jpg
I'll forgive the longish arms on this Hulk just because I think it'd be cool to have a wind-up walking Hulk toy!

msh_hulkpuzzle.JPG
Hulk puzzle... one second later, the gorilla is defeated.

msh_hulkpuzzle.jpg
Yep, you guessed it, it's a Hulk 3rd Eye puzzle!

msh_hulksecretstory
I used to have almost all the "Secret Story" books Ideal publishing put out... first the origin tale, and then a more recent story!

msh_hulkthinghotwheels.jpg
Here's that Hulk Hot Wheels van again, this time in a twin pack with a Thing van!

msh_hulktshirt.jpg
Very cool Hulk t-shirt design!

msh_hulktshirta.jpg
I remember seeing this shirt advertised in the comics!

msh_hulkwatch.jpg
Hulk wristwatch! Very nice!

msh_hulkwheelo.jpg
Another silly Hulk toy! When I was a kid, these were called "Wheel-O"s!

msh_indexspiderman.jpg
And last up this time around is the Marvel Index, Volume 1!

Next time, the Marvel stuff starts with Iron Man!

  4. Doc and Vic, glad you enjoyed the post!

CreativeButterfly, those earrings were certainly geeky, but possibly not old-school geeky enough for most of my readers!
