is it just me, or are the german posters for King Kong Escapes saying 'King Kong: Son of Frankenstein'?.. yes.. Sohn is Son... so.. what the hell?
ReplyDeleteYou're not mistaken... I've seen "Frankenstein" mentioned on a number of German posters for monster movies that don't have any Frankenstein creation, so I'm guessing that "Frankenstein" is just a shorthand word for "monster" when it comes to Germany!
