And so, the first stuff is 8" Mego figures, with Aqualad above! More after the jump!

Hmmm... looking at this Hulk Hydrocar now, it looks like it's not part of the 8" line, but rather part of the Comic Action Heroes line, perhaps even a repurposed Micronauts item!

Fist Fighting Robin is definitely an 8" figure!

Been an awfully long time since I had a gallery of Super 8mm home movie boxes, hasn't it?

The immediate popularity of Filmation's Archie cartoons probably helped get Archie licensing going, such as this 1969 paper doll book!

This 1973 Betty puppet is a bit scary-looking, isn't it?

And we're on to the Batman stuff, beginning with this 1960s bowl!

1966 parachuting Batman! When the Batman license was lost, this was reissued as "Mister Green" or something like that!

Batman postcard by Hallmark!

These are by Dexter, a company I've not heard of before! Both this and the Hallmark cards were produced in 1966, apparently!

1966 puffy stickers! Note that Superman and Aquaman are present here, too!

One of the many AHI Batboats! I'm guessing this is pretty much identical to the Spider-Man and Hulk boats they produced, save for colors of plastic, pilots, and decals!

I don't believe I've ever shown a photo of the AHI Robin parachutist on the card before!

AHI made these space rockets for Spider-Man and the Hulk, too, making it a three-way concept failure!

AHI Zoomcycle!

These Batman cards are from an Argentina game!

This odd Batman squirt bottle is also from Argentina!

Here's a built and painted Aurora model!

Argentina Batmobile!
Lots more Batman stuff coming your way... next time!

Cool stuff!
ReplyDeleteThanks to InnerSpace online and a bit of searching there, i can tell you just what that Hulk Hydro car is!
ReplyDeleteIt was a Micromax toy (like alot of Micronauts), turned into there Taurion (http://www.innerspaceonline.com/taurion.htm)
Intrestingly though, they comment it was reused in the Pocket Super Heroes line as the 'Robin Shuttle', however, this is much more like the Taurion then the Robin Shuttle.. though on that top, it seams the canopy was removed (or more likely, removeable, as it was snap on oringallly) cause no way the hulk figure (or anyone in that size range) can fit with that canopy on, yet the side photo seams to show it on..
Thanks for your comments...
ReplyDeleteAnd Manic Man, thanks for the research!
