OK, so Aquaman managed to find the one swordfish who lived in a lake (OK, so I'm just assuming it's a freshwater lake, it's a reasonable assumption to make) and got that fish to help him escape...

Wow, look how fast he's going! Almost as if he has incredible strength or something!

Well, Superman and Batman attack, anyway...

SAY WHAT?????????? Where the heck did Aquaman get the idea that this problem can be solved by finding uses for seaweed?

Um, what do people who live underwater need with a pitcher, Aquaman????

OK, does any of that make sense to any of you? The seaweedy people are the ones who were growing the seaweed in the bottom of THE LAKE, they were causing untold ecological damage to THE LAKE, and were taking prisoners and attacking the Super Friends, and their problem apparently was... that they didn't have enough ways to use seaweed?!? Really? That's the solution the Super Friends, particularly Aquaman, came up with? I mean, it seems that they're claiming that they used to live in the ocean until an octopus took over their undersea lands (which Aquaman was apparently completely unaware of, but he does have 3/4 of the planet to cover) -- an octopus who apparently was strong enough that it couldn't be deterred by the strong and aggressive seaweed -- and it never occurred to the Super Friends that maybe Aquaman could talk that octopus into leaving, so the seaweedy people could return to their homeland, and the the ecological damage could be reversed to the lake?
Sheesh.
Well, next time around, it's going to be something a little different! For the next four installments, I'll present a complete book, telling the story of Superman! Yes, I know, I posted that "Superman: From Krypton to Metropolis" book a while ago, but this is a decidedly different version for younger kids, featuring the artwork of Ramona Fradon!

Awesome stuff, thanks for posting sir!
