I believe this was part of a series of British books, so those of you reading this from other parts of the world, this should be your first exposure to this one!
I think by now you're familiar with http://batgirlbat-trap.com/worldadventurelibrary/WorldAdventureLibrary.html where it is revealed that the Batman World Adventure Library was a series in 1966-67. The author was Douglas Stallard Enefer (1906-1987). (He had a number of pen names, including Dale Bogard and Paul Denver.) Hope this helps!
