Re: "Mexican lobby card" "El Mundo en Peligro" translates as "The World in Danger". Pretty neat too.
I don't recall if people knew they were going to see ants when they went into the theater? The "Crawl-and-crush giants clawing up from the Earth's mile-deep catacombs" slogan and the art (with eyes unlike any ants I've ever seen) wouldn't seem to give it away.
That photo of one of the two prop ants is a new one to me. Good find!
