    The CBS show William K. Everson recalls in his Personal Reminiscence is the July 1956 "The Man Who Lost His Head" episode of the Climax series. IMDB doesn't list the director in either the episode's or Buzz (Seymour) Kulick's pages.

    Richard Bokarski's Lorre 1904-1964 article makes the odd (to me) claim that Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea was based on a Jules Verne novel. Sure enough, in an interview about Five Weeks in a Balloon screenwriter Charles Bennett confirms this. To me, the precedent for VttBotS is the 1959 film "The Atomic Submarine".
