And we continue the parade of Superman goodies with this 1970s Superman cake topper... usually the South American comics-related items are pretty cool, but this one is pretty sad, isn't it? Well, there'll be cooler stuff after the jump!

1966 Superman candy-coated peanuts!

This pillow was apparently an item one could try to win at a carnival!

Superman chalkboard!

Superman coasters!

Superman coloring book! Nope, I don't have this one in my collection (not yet, anyway!).

Superman coloring cards!

This Superman comic game, complete with Jack Kirby art, has long been on my list of "I've got to get this some day" stuff!

Corgi Supermobile and Supervan!

Superman crazy foam!

Superman Flash Whistle and Flip Flashlite!

1950s Fork and Spoon!

Gilbert Toys catalog featuring the Man of Steel! I guess it's because the Man of Steel plus Erector Sets (made of steel)... other than that, I can't figure the connection!

Rather faded Superman glass, but still cool, eh?

Superman gliders!

Superman "Heroes of the Comics"! I'm not sure what they manufacturers were thinking here...

Italian Superman car... were they thinking this was a car Superman would drive?

AHI didn't have the exclusive on Superman parachuter toys... here's one from Japan!
More Superman stuff next time!

I never noticed it before but that Kirby-drawn card game STILL has Superman's face pasted over by Murphy Anderson even though we get Jack's own Olsen face for a change.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we had to wait until the Super Powers comics to see a truly Kirby-drawn Superman face, didn't we?
