First up this time, it's Tales of Suspense #27... "When Oog Lives Again!" Not shown: The heat lamp aimed at that side of the ice slab so it would melt from front to back!
Next, Tales to Astonish #41, with Ant-Man, and one of the few covers to really get the whole idea across of what kind of scale Ant-Man is dealing with!
Next, Tales of Suspense #60, and Kirby picked a different approach here, didn't he? Usually, a split cover is done more conventionally, but Kirby went for something different here -- unless, of course, it was originally only going to be Iron Man on the cover, and when Stan wanted Cap there, too, he just had the Iron Man cover art statted down and new Cap art added to the stat!
Wow, we're just going from Tales of Suspense to Tales to Astonish and back and forth this time, aren't we? One thing this cover has in common with the previous one is that a pose featured on each cover sort of became an iconic pose -- and I'm talking Iron Man on the Suspense cover, and the Hulk on the Astonish cover! What, you thought I was talking about clumsy Giant-Man there?
