And it's the wrap-up of Government Comics week, and this last entry features Superman and Wonder Woman! I'm not sure what's up with Diana's costume in this entry.

  1. I'm wondering if pants were perhaps unacceptable for women in the country or countries for which this special issue was produced?

  2. Hi Jon,
Eduardo Barretto spent a decade at DC, mostly drawing Superman and Batman. He provided the covers (only) for Wonder Woman #s 316-323 (June 1984-Jan/Feb 1985).
The Honduras had troubles from 1969 to 1987, while Nicaragua had them from 1979 to 1984. Costa Rica wasn't directly involved, but the Nicaraguan contras used it as a refuge during part of that time.
    Thanks!
