Yep, today is Jessi's and my wedding day! We're both very excited about it, and I'm sure the day will be a great one... the weather should be perfect!
If you happen to feel like it, and want to make a donation as a means of giving us a wedding present, I'm including the button below...
And for those of you inclined to do so, my thanks!

Getting Closer to the Day...
...that day, of course, being Jessi's and my wedding day, which is Saturday!
Thursday will be my last day at work before the wedding, as I have Friday off from work (I also have all of the following week off).
Speaking of work... can I just say that I wish that someone else had been chosen as my back-up for my "guardian angel" accounts? I don't have anything personally against the person who's my current back-up... they just don't have the in-depth knowledge or speed to really cover for me when I'm not there.
Today, we went through one ad (not even a full-page ad) for one of my guardian accounts... basically, it's all typing -- no photos or graphics to deal with at all -- and I can usually get it done in 15-20 minutes. My back-up (WITH my help and prompting) took close to an hour and a half. Well, it might've been longer than that.
Thursday, I have to cover that account's other ad (a car dealership, they run one ad for new cars and one for used) with my back-up, as well as both the real estate accounts I cover.
I'm guessing this will pretty much take up the first half of my day.
In other news... things are definitely coming together for the wedding and the subsequent honeymoon! Only a few minor things to take care of (like my preparing what I'm providing for the potluck reception, which I'll start Thursday night).
The honeymoon, in case I haven't mentioned it before, will be in Coer D'Alene, Idaho, where there is the Silverwood Amusement Park, as well as a water park. We'll get there on Monday, and leave Thursday.
So, let this serve as "official" notice that this blog will continue its unannounced hiatus for the most part probably through next week... at least until Friday, I'd imagine.
And no, I still haven't seen "Superman Returns" yet. And yes, my friends, I know I still owe a few of you an email!

Long Time, No Post...
...and it's more or less due to the wedding, which happens on Saturday!
Well, that, plus Jessi's got the entire month of July off, so she's started keeping hours closer to mine, which leaves me with less time to do stuff like post here (or on the DC History Yahoo group).
I'm hoping that on Sunday, I'll be able to post some photos of the wedding before we leave on our honeymoon on Monday next week, but don't hold your breath waiting, y'hear?
