Cool Stuff: Various stuff!
Consider this a preview of the upcoming Captain Ameriblog!

Here's a poster for the Captain America movie serial!

Next up is this Captain Action point-of-purchase display! In the future, you'll see more of the Captain Action stuff here... but it could take a while!

Then we have this 8mm home movie version of Close Encounters of the Third Kind!

Click this poster for Conquest of the Planet of the Apes for a super-size view!

Way out of order, here's a Wonder Woman marionette, part of the same series that included Superman and Batman!
Next time: Some custom action figures!

By the 10's: House of Mystery!
This next by the 10's features a DC "mystery" title of sorts that really changed course a few times... House of Mystery!

Issue 10 here, and it's pretty tame stuff, as you can see.

Issue 20 features Mister Mortem... whom I've never heard of before! While it appears from this cover DC was trying to create a recurring character, I can't find any record that he appeared anywhere other than this issue!

Issue 30's cover is pretty bizarre (well, I guess not so bizarre for the Silver Age)!

Issue 40 -- wow, who would've thought a Scrabble knockoff would be so deadly?

Issue 50 here, but I'm not going to mention the cover... just point out the blurb on the bottom, "I rode the Man O' Mars!" -- now, that's an out-of-context phrase that would have a double meaning as this series progressed, eh?

Issue 60... what did he see in that yellow cloud?

Issue 70, and we've gone from stories of suspense to pure sci-fi!

Issue 80... did Robby Read feature this Big Giant Hand in Dial B for Blog?

Issue 90... wow, what a weird cover, eh?

Issue 100, and that's a pretty strange creature there, isn't it?
What will the next 100 issues bring? Wait and see!

Castle of Frankenstein #9, Part 9!
And we're up to page 58, featuring the conclusion of the Victor Buono article and a rather kinky cartoon!
Page 59's ad for the Frankenstein Chamber of Horrors is always fun to look at, isn't it?
An amusing cartoon there on page 60, isn't it? This is another jump page from earlier in the mag, as you can see.
I can't see how anyone with money to spend could've managed not to order something off of pages 61 through 63!
Page 64 and 65 are the Back Issue Department... I'm sure back then, these prices seemed expensive, but today, they'd be considered dirt cheap!
Another page of goodies advertised here on page 66...
And with the inside and outside back cover, that's a wrap! Wow, I guess next week's installment will start a new magazine!
Cool Stuff: Original Comic Art!
As usual, clicking on many of these will give you a super-size view!

Cool Stuff: Bullwinkle Stuff!
Let's see what kinds of Bullwinkle stuff I have for you this time around, eh?

Here's a nice figural bank... wish I had a bigger, sharper photo of it to share!

I like this Bullwinkle figural bubble bath container, too!

If I liked to collect Colorforms stuff, I think I'd want this Bullwinkle set!

This Bullwinkle puzzle is a bit off-model, but still fun!

This 1960 puzzle is delightfully off-model... reminds me of the Golden Books of the era, and I'm sure the same artists were involved!

This 1971 puzzle seems to indicate that the colorist didn't know that Boris and Natasha should have white skin!

This sleeping bag is another Bullwinkle item I wish I had a larger, sharper photo of to share!

This Bullwinkle Tru-Vue Roll-A-Show is another example of movie viewers that used a cassette with a film loop!

I have no idea why someone thought a Bullwinkle ukelele was a good idea... well, maybe Bullwinkle played one in an episode?
Next time: Miscellaneous stuff!
