Starting off with View-Master stuff!





I have got to start collecting these things (and figure out how to do scans of 'em to share)... My curiosity about some of these Marvel sets is driving me mad, I tell you, MAAAAD!

OK, I'm better now.



My understanding is that the "Magic Eyes" system by Tru-Vue was originally a competitor to View-Master, but then the companies either merged or one bought out the other (I see the GAF logo on this one, and remember hearing "GAF View-Master", so I'm suspecting it was a merger). It seems that nearly all the Magic Eyes sets were reissued as View-Master discs.



You know, I remember some cereal box toys of the Wacky Racers cars, but I sure as heck don't remember model kits! This was very well-done...



...compared to this friction car, which doesn't resemble the Compact Pussycat at all!



I haven't shown one of these French Foto-Novel covers for a while... this one is When Worlds Collide!
