Word is hitting all the blogs and comics newssites about the passing of Dick Giordano. While I never met the man, I do feel as if I knew him, at least by reputation.
Back in the days when I was transcribing interviews for Twomorrows' magazines, any time Dick's name came up, there was nothing but compliments for him. I don't recall any story told about him -- even the ones that didn't make print -- that put him in a bad light.
One of the few books about specific comics people I still have in my collection is Michael Eury's biography about Dick, and I think I may have to re-read it again very soon.
Goodbye, Dick... rest in peace.

Batman Cartoonarama - Finally!
So, some of you will recall the one video blog I've done (so far) in which I bragged about winning a Batman Cartoonarama kit, among other things... Well, yesterday I finally got the three pictures scanned in at high resolution, and have those to share with you guys -- plain and color versions! Check them out after the jump -- and if you want to download high-res versions of them, you'll have that option, too! You can use them as wallpaper, or to print out on transfer paper to make your own t-shirts, or whatever you wish!
Cool Stuff: Marvel Stuff, Part 2!
I said there'd be more Captain America stuff this time, and I wasn't lying!

Although I'm usually against the idea of putting non-flying characters on kites, the design on this one allows me to make an exception in this case! More stuff after the jump!
