Batman: The Brave and the Bold - Battle of the Superheroes!
Holy crap, what a great episode! Sadly, it whets my appetite for an entire Superman animated series in the same style! Comments, spoilers galore, and some clips after the jump!
Give-A-Show Fridays: Chad Valley Batman Parts 1 and 2!
Now, here's a series that I'm guessing many of you have been waiting for... the 1967 Chad Valley Batman Give-A-Show Set! Unfortunately, it's kind of a letdown... but here's part one and two anyway!
By the 10s: Iron Man!
Yes, I'm getting a lot of "Marvel titles I forgot to do before" here, aren't I? Well, today it's Shellhead's turn! When Tales of Suspense got split into two books, Captain America got to take over the numbering of that title, so Iron Man got his own issue #1 -- after the one-shot Iron Man and Sub-Mariner #1 (which had Subby because the Hulk got to take over numbering of Tales to Astonish)!

Here's issue 10, with Iron Man battling his arch-foe the Mandarin!

Ten of a Kind: Great Monty Python Sketches!
Agree or disagree if you wish... just watch them, after the jump!
Comic Book Advertisements!
This time around, it's ads from Charlton's Blue Beetle Vol. 3, #53! And there'll be some familiar stuff here...

Last time around, I showed you a half-page version of this ad... or was it a quarter page? Either way, here's a full-page version, where you can actually read that it's "A full 6-feet tall in chilling full color on durable 80-pound stock..." so you can figure out that it is, indeed, a giant poster!

By the 10s: Fantastic Four, Part 3!
Let's get this one finished up, shall we? Issue 210 was part of a multi-issue storyline that writer Marv Wolfman intended as a crossover with Nova, but with that series being cancelled, the story ended up finishing in the FF's book. Galactus was needed because Nova's arch-foe, the Sphinx, amassed the entire knowledge of the Xandarian living computers, and the Big G was the only guy who could beat him now!

Retro-Review: Glamorous Romances #48, Part 3!
Next in this issue is “Her Way to Catch Him!” and like all the others, this is unsigned and uncredited. The story opens in the offices of The Robertson Company, where Dotty Green (I'm not sure if this is a carryover character from the previous series) is upset because her boyfriend, John (who also works in the office) is being pursued by Claire Douglas, the office “man snatcher”. She commiserates with Liana Lyndall, who is glad her boyfriend, Wally Gilman doesn't work there.

CBT: Fantastic Four in "Island of Danger"!
